Welcome to EQNE! We’re thrilled you’re here. This community was built to support equestrians through high-quality resale—and that includes helping sellers succeed with clarity and kindness. Below are our expectations and standards to help make EQNE a trusted space for everyone.

No Horse Sales (For Now)

While we love horses, EQNE is currently focused on gear, not live animal sales. Please do not list horses at this time.

Ship Promptly & Thoughtfully

• Ship within 3 days of sale.
• Delays or unresponsiveness may result in temporary suspension of selling privileges.
• Package clean and complete — a thoughtful touch (like a thank-you note) is encouraged.
• Use insured shipping to protect your item. EQNE is not responsible for loss or damage in transit.

Communicate Clearly

• Respond to buyer questions as soon as you can—within 24 hours is ideal.
• The better your communication, the stronger your reviews (and the faster you sell!).
• Note: Only conversations conducted through EQNE are protected. Off-platform messages are not covered by buyer/seller protections.

Be Kind, Always

This is a community built by riders, for riders. Respect, honesty, and courtesy are not optional—they’re the standard.

Seller Fees & Commission

• Any seller that signs up on EQNE takes a 15% commission on all sold listings
• These fees help us maintain the platform, provide support, and grow the EQNE community

🎉 Founders Circle Program (Launch Offer)

Sellers who register and list on EQNE between June 29, 2025, and December 31, 2025 (our first six months) are eligible for our Founders Circle program:

• Founders Circle members will receive a lifetime commission rate of 10% on all sales made through ShopEQNE.

• To qualify for the lifetime 10% rate, sellers must:

• Register between June 29, 2025, and December 31, 2025.

• Post at least one active listing.

• Complete a sale of $25 or more during the Founders Circle period.

• Sellers who join during the Founders Circle window but do not complete an eligible sale ($25+) by December 31, 2025 will automatically transition to the standard 15% commission rate for all future sales.

• The commission rate for eligible Founders Circle members will remain in effect for the duration of their active selling account.

This policy is designed to reward our earliest supporters and incentivize prompt registration and participation during our launch period.

How You Get Paid

• EQNE takes a flat commission on each sale (outlined above), covering everything — platform costs, support, and payment processing.
• You’ll receive your earnings in 1–3 business days via Stripe (no fees).
• Want it faster? Choose Instant Payout and Stripe will deposit funds immediately to your bank for 3.5% or $2.99, whichever is greater.

Payment Processing & Identity Verification

EQNE uses Stripe, a leading and secure payment processor, to handle all transactions. To comply with U.S. financial laws, Stripe may require you to provide personal information such as your legal name, address, date of birth, and, for U.S.-based sellers, your Social Security Number (SSN) or Employer Identification Number (EIN). This is a standard requirement for payment processors to verify your identity, prevent fraud, and enable tax reporting.

Important points to know:

• Your information is submitted directly to Stripe, not stored by EQNE.
• EQNE never uses your personal details outside of payment processing.
• Stripe is certified PCI Level 1 — the highest standard of payment security.
• By signing up as a seller, you agree to Stripe’s Connected Account Agreement and understand that identity verification, including SSN/EIN for U.S. sellers, is required for payouts.

No Tolerance for Disrespect or Dishonesty

Rude, aggressive, or dishonest behavior will result in removal from the platform. EQNE is a safe space, and we’ll keep it that way.
